My newest commission!
What an incredible build this was.
its made from 1095 steel with a handle made from 5000-7000 year old bog oak with black died camel bone inlaid into the handle. I then cut some lines in along the handle and made up some black epoxy and poured it in so it looked like it was oozing out of the bone.
This was one of my most favourite commissions to date and I can’t wait for the next one!

I Have Started to Teach knife Making Courses!
A little while ago I was contacted by a chap called Dave from Old Pound Smithy in north Devon to run some one day knife making experiences!
I jumped at the chance to drive up and meet Dave and Bex from Old Pound Smithy with out any real idea of what to expect and I must admit I was nervous and excited at the idea of what it could bring.
After meeting them both and having a look at their set up and site and talking to them about their work, it became apparent really quickly that I was going to love it there and I can honestly say it’s amazing and what they are doing is absolutely brilliant. They offer clamping as well as a venue tent which all surrounds their teaching forge. the whole place is stunning and I can’t recommend it enough.
